In 2018, Atelier François Pouenat reached out to me to illustrate the ironworks pattern for the staircase of the new Hotel Costes in Paris designed by Christian Liaigre. It was an exciting challenge, for which I dove deep in the archives of Bibliothèque des Arts Décoratifs to research XVIIIth century ironworks.

A few years later, I had the pleasure to work on another staircase for the atelier, this time for a private client. Below I share a few sketches from that project too.
